The Distillation Column is a complete system designed to segregate pure cuts of hydrocarbon material from blended feed stock, but will also separate any light material from heavy material. The system has major components designed and manufactured by Precision Stainless, Koch, and Graham with metallurgy of stainless steel and Hastelloy. This equipment was previously used in the Procter & Gamble Tertiary Amines Plant in the United States for removal of unreacted olefins and hydrocarbons from an amine product stream. |

Alternative uses for the distillation process could include any removal of lighter organics from heavier organics, which is quite common in the chemical industry. The column could even be set up for true fractionation into more than just light and heavy cut product streams. |

The Honeywell 3000 process control system and program are available with this process as is all necessary documentation (equipment files, P&IDs, PFDs, operating manuals, etc.). All pressure vessels have National Board numbers and spare parts are available for most equipment. There is no asbestos in the plant, and it has been properly cleaned of all chemicals. This site is very accessible by road and rail. Equipment can be barged from the local docks only a few miles away on a major river. |
